a note from Richard

AGRICULTURE IS in my blood

I was raised in a Colorado farming family dating back over 100 years, which gave me a significant understanding and respect for agriculture and its importance globally.  I retired from Wells Fargo Bank after 41 years where I worked in the area of international trade finance, partnering with the bank’s global network of correspondent banks providing short-term international trade financing and cash management solutions on behalf of my clients.  My career at Wells Fargo was driven by a passion for engaging in the global economy and to bring agritrading expertise to my clients. I bring that same global passion, relationships with government entities, internationally focused not-for-profit organizations, and former work colleagues to my own company, C)H AgriTrading.

humble origins

My company’s name , C)H, is pronounced “C quartercircle H”,  and is a way for me to honor my grandfather, Carl Helling.  He registered C)H as his cattle brand when he homesteaded his farm over 100 years ago.  We have kept the brand in the family ever since.
